RUM PUNCH
Find a 2 qt or 1 gallon pitcher.
1 - 46oz can on Dole
Pineapple juice
2 - 12oz can of Goya
Mango
1 - 12oz can of Goya
Guava
1 - 12oz can of Goya
Guanabana
6oz splash of OJ
6oz splash of
Cranberry
Pour all juices in the pitcher and shake well. You now have the punch of the rum punch.
1 bottle of Meyers dark rum. Do not attempt to use any other!
You also need fresh whole nutmeg. Do not make the rummer without.
Fill your cups with ice. Tin cups work best. Fill the cup to the top with large ice cubes. Hold hand on top of ice and pour out any excess water.
Now fill the cup with rum.
Depending on the time of day, fill the rum to the appropriate level. Measured in fingers. Finger level from the bottom of the cup to the top of the rum.
6-12am = Good morning
1 finger of rum
12-6pm = Good
afternoon 2 fingers of rum
6-12pm = Good evening
3 fingers of rum
12pm - 6am = Good
night 4 fingers of rum
You will find that the rum levels work very well over a 24 hour time period.
Now pour the punch over the rum and ice. This will mix the rum slightly. Do not stir. The drink will mix itself as you sip it. As the ice melts, the rum will water down.
Lastly take your
nutmeg shaver
